How remote Tesla diagnostics works: owner Approve, screenshots, and the PDF report
Remote Tesla Diag is an independent service that runs Tesla Toolbox remote diagnostics after you Approve access in the Tesla app, then delivers an async screenshot-proof PDF after payment. No shop visit. No tow. Diagnosis only — worldwide wherever Tesla owner authorization works.
1. Owner Approve — the only access path we use
Remote diagnosis starts with Tesla’s official Toolbox owner-authorization flow. After intake (Tesla account email, VIN / model, and the issue), we send an owner-auth request. You open the Tesla app and Approve access for your vehicle.
- What you do: Approve (or decline) the official request in the Tesla app.
- What we never ask for: shared passwords, PIN screenshots for covert login, or unauthorized access.
- Why it matters: owner Approve is the honest, customer-controlled gate for a remote Toolbox session.
If you cannot complete Approve for your region or account, we cannot run a remote session. Capability is framed as worldwide wherever Tesla owner authorization works — not as a local bay map. More detail: Tesla Toolbox owner authorization — Approve, no passwords, remote scope.
2. What happens in the remote Toolbox session
Once Approve is in place, we connect remotely and review what Toolbox exposes for your Model 3 / Y / S / X. Typical focus areas include:
- Active and stored alerts relevant to the reported symptom
- Service Mode and related diagnostic views when applicable
- HV battery and related system pages when Toolbox data supports that review
- Other system pages needed to explain the findings clearly in writing
This is remote diagnosis only. We do not repair, install parts, tow, or book a physical bay. If hardware work is needed, you take the finished PDF to Tesla Service or a qualified local shop.
3. What Toolbox screenshots in the PDF prove
Every paid engagement includes screenshot proof embedded in the written PDF. Screenshots are not decoration — they document what Toolbox showed during the session so you (and a shop) can see the same evidence.
- They prove: the alerts / pages / Service Mode captures we reviewed and based findings on.
- They do not prove: that Tesla Service will honor a specific repair plan, warranty outcome, or parts quote.
- They are not: a substitute for physical inspection when the car needs hands-on work.
Think of the PDF as an evidence-backed remote diagnostic report you can forward — clear enough to reduce “what did they actually see?” ambiguity.
4. Pay when ready — PDF releases after verified payment
Pricing is framed from about $199 per hour of remote diagnostic time (quoted after intake). When the report is ready, we share payment options under the Remote Tesla Diag brand (Stripe / Square / Zelle — accounts TBD until launch).
- We confirm the report is ready and send payment instructions.
- You pay and send a receipt.
- We verify payment, then release the screenshot-proof PDF.
You pay before the PDF is released. That keeps the deliverable tied to completed remote work — not a vague call with no artifacts.
5. Independent service — honest limits
Remote Tesla Diag is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Tesla, Inc. We use the Toolbox owner-authorization flow Tesla provides to owners. Brand and model names appear for nominative identification of the vehicle only.
- No “authorized Tesla partner” or “official service center” claims
- No physical shop, tow-in, or drop-off
- No repairs or parts from this engagement
- Contacts stay TBD placeholders until a dedicated WhatsApp and email are published on the site
6. Languages and the ZH / region Toolbox caveat
Intake and reports are available in English (primary), Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, and Simplified Chinese. Chinese-language support is aimed at overseas Chinese-speaking owners wherever Tesla owner authorization works. Toolbox availability can vary by region — we do not claim mainland China Toolbox works identically to other markets.

FAQ — process details
Answers aligned with the homepage FAQ; more detail on Approve, screenshots, and payment timing.
What does owner Approve mean?
It is Tesla’s official Toolbox owner-authorization step. You Approve (or decline) in the Tesla app. We never ask for shared passwords or covert access.
What do the screenshots in the PDF prove?
They document Toolbox views from the remote session (alerts, Service Mode captures, relevant system / HV pages when available). They are evidence of findings — not a Tesla Service repair authorization or warranty decision.
When do I pay, and when do I get the PDF?
Pay when the report is ready, before release. After verified payment you receive the written PDF with embedded screenshots. From about $199 per hour of remote diagnostic time.
Are you Tesla or an authorized partner?
No. Remote Tesla Diag is independent and not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Tesla, Inc. Remote diagnosis only — no repairs, parts, towing, or shop booking.
Does this work in China / for Chinese-speaking owners?
Chinese support is for overseas Chinese-speaking owners wherever Tesla owner authorization works. Toolbox availability can vary by region; we do not claim mainland China Toolbox works identically to other markets.
